About

Water Proofing and Resurfacing

The sun is constantly eating away at your R.V.'s roof. Not only are the RV's flashings, vents, and edges deteriorating, but the actual rubber roof thickness is also disappearing. RRR offers the following solutions to these problems.

1. If your flashings are cracked and worn out, we can address just the flashings with a thick mastic caulk that is U.V. stable. This option will stop the immediate leaks and emergencies.

2. We highly recommend that most campers have a total resurfacing of the entire roof using a full fluid application. This process is easy and non invasive to your camper. It begins with a thorough power washing to remove all dirt, debris, and oxidized flakes from the roof. Next, an epoxy primer is applied to the surface to ensure maximum adhesion. All of the vents, edges, and flashings are then re-enforced with 100% solids mastic. Finally, two separate coats of high solids coating will be applied to the entire roof surface. (These steps are completed on any slide outs as well.)

Unfortunately, RV manufacturers use cheap roofing materials which do not endure the outside elements long term. RRR has even seen only three year old campers whose roofs are totally sun beaten and worn out. It is a shame that these roofs could not be constructed with higher quality products from the beginning. Your camper's structural integrity starts with its roof. If your RV is leaking, the whole camper will begin to fall apart. Complete rubber re-roofs can cost upwards of $10,000, making RRR a superior option. PLEASE GIVE US A CALL, so that we can help keep your RV dry for all your vacation fun.

About

My name is Kyle Sybesma

I have been involved in the commercial roofing industry for about 20 years as former part owner at A-1 Roofing and Insulation Systems. The majority of what I did at A-1 Roofing revolved around full fluid applications, and I learned everything I know about roof restoration from first hand experience. While at A-1 Roofing, we were constantly receiving calls from people who wanted us to inspect their camper roof. I did restore many RV roofs while working with A-1, but it was only a drop in the bucket as I was always too busy with large scale roofs. I started RV Roof Restorations because I saw a huge need for RV roofs to be restored instead of torn off and re-roofed. Living in the Platte, SD, area, I have watched thousands of campers move into the region over the last ten years. I bring two decades of product knowledge and know how along with me into the RV roofing world. I have seen the products that stand the test of time, as well as the products that do not. I care about the quality and performance of the full fluid systems that I apply to RV roofs. Please give me a call for a free consultation and estimates.
